Kimon is Managing Director and Operations Manager of Premier Fire and responsible for the logistics, development, and management of Premier Fire’s Field Operations.
He is also Director and Fire Risk Management Consultant at London-based “Pyrosafety Fire Risk Management”, who takes on large scale fire related projects at sites such as hospitals, universities and large structural and industrial premises as well as at high-rise residential premises.
Kimon has an undergraduate degree in Policing and Public Safety from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College, and a postgraduate degree in Criminology from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is currently working towards a PhD in the Organization and Systemization of Fire Service Operations at University College London (UCL).
He has worked as a fire safety consultant at large public and private organizations in the UK, such as University College London, King’s College London, BB7 Fire ltd and Hydrock.
A large part of his experience in fire and rescue operations comes from his 20+ year voluntary work with the OEDD Volunteer Fire Rescue team and the Hellenic Fire Services’ 9th Fire Station of Athens. On top of a wealthy operational background in forest firefighting, structural firefighting and road traffic collision rescue, he is also a trainer with certifications in structural firefighting, fire investigation, road and railway tunnel firefighting and fire safety engineering from relevant bodies such as the IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers), CFBT-BE, CFBT-NL, Essex Fire and Rescue Service, The Fire Service College, Firefighter Mayday Programme, The Fire Protection Association and more
